All About Me!
Welcome to second grade! My name is Miss Ferrara. This is my third year teaching at Valley View. I love teaching students the joy of learning and in that process, I love learning from the students. My undergraduate and graduate degrees are from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. I am returning to school at Central Connecticut State University this year to further my education! Another joy I have in life is traveling. The picture to the left is from a trip to the Bahamas I took with my family.
Along with my love of travel, I love animals! I have gone swimming with dolphins a few times, got to know a penguin (Blue Gray) at the Mystic Aquarium, volunteered at a santuary in Australia for endangered animals, and gone scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. All of these activities have helped me learn a lot more about animals and the world. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn more!
